Grammy-nominated musician Will Clipman presents the magic of Myths & Masks at Canyon Moon Theatre! It's a wonder-filled day for children of all ages, including Mom and Dad. Myths & Masks is presented in two performances followed by a three-hour, hands-on workshop on mask making. Each performance consists of the exhibit of beautiful masks and musical instruments used to enhance original multi-cultural stories. These mythopoetic stories are mesmerizing, and the music and masks are a delight.
The three-hour workshop at the end of the day includes the creation of a Lifecast — a plaster bandage mask — for each person. Materials are included in the fee, but participants are advised to bring an old towel, a shower cap, and a smock or old shirt. This workshop is appropriate for ages 8 years and older.
